Okay, I answered some of my own questions.
I changed Burst Mode Power Limit to 118 and Sustained Mode Power Limit to 95, but the four Core Ratio Limits are not editable. I do not pretend to understand the four Core Ratio Limits, but since the 1-Core for i5-2405S is 33 and the 4-Core for i5-2500K is 34 -- i.e. there is no overlap -- it seems that I may be able to increase the load limit somewhat, but not all the way. If someone can point me to an Intel document which explains this, I'd appreciate it.
By the way, I believe that what I have done so far is safe because Intel manufactures all i5 CPUs of a certain generation, in this case, Sandy Bridge, using the same silicon product, but with different configurations. If I tried to raise the power limits beyond 95W, I would be asking for trouble. I do not want to over-clock, just get 95W worth of work out of this i5.
I will watch the temperatures to see what happens. Too bad I cannot run the Turbo Boost Technology Monitor to watch turbo boost.
I won't touch the Maximum Non-Turbo Ratio for now and maybe I never will.
And I understand I am voiding the warranty, but it's been three years so that is a moot point.
