Adding my machine to list with issues reconnecting to wi-fi after hibernate and sleep. Wait approximately 1 minute and it connects.
- System brand and model: Dell Latitude E5440
- Operating system: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
- Wireless band: 802.11g
- Router: Old Belkin but never had a problem with ~10 other laptops
- Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power: OFF
- Power Saving Mode: Maximum Performance
Updated to latest 17.14.0 driver today but no difference. Issue only started recently and is highly intermittant. Sometimes there's errors in the Windows logs, other times not. Sometimes it connects and drops within a few seconds of login. Never seen it on a cold boot or reboot.
Note this previous thread for the same issue appearing in Windows 8.1 and claimed to be fixed by a new driver version:
Hard to believe Intel hasn't escalated or recreated this in 10 months. Do the error messages not make it obvious? No debug data that can be captured from us?
Have a guy at Dell involved so hopefully he can recreate it under controlled conditions but even then Intel aren't showing much interest in resolving it.
