The version 17.0.1401.03 lists the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 as a supported adapter; however, I have found better results with 3.1.1311 and this specific adapter.

The best thing to do is look at the event viewer , it shows more info with the latest drivers. The next version of the drivers need to show alot more debug info , whats failing etc. i suspect something...
