Intel Widi installation fail

Hi,

I finished building PC and I am just updating drivers. When I tried to install the WiDi driver, or tried to use the WiDi update tool, it kept saying things like;

"Your video hardware is not compatible with Intel(R) WiDi"

"Your graphics driver cannot find or load necessary components for Intel(R) WiDi"

"Your system has an Intel Graphics adapter that is not supporeted by this update tool"

As far as I know, my mobo and cpu both support WiDi and my pc meets the requirements. Here are my specs.

OS: Windows 8.1

MOBO: MSI Z97i-ac

CPU: i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon)

Graphics Card: Zotac GTX 970

My motherboard has integrated wifi (wireless-ac 7260 chip) and my cpu has HD Graphics 4600. Both of those meet the requirements on the Support Knowledge Base

Please, help me figure this out. Does the graphics card have to support WiDi too or could there something be defective in the CPU or MOBO? Everything else is working fine - it's just the WiDi.
