Yes, it is hard to get started. I've been using it for about a year and a half now; there was much less help about when I was learning so I just had to work it out by myself mostly! There were some very helpful people on the old forum too. You can mostly piece it together by going through the documentation and looking at the C++ sample but it does take time. As I said, if you're stuck with how to use a particular method in the projection api, search the forum for the method name and with any luck it'll be one someone has already asked about and had it explained. If not, feel free to post another question (ideally in a new thread to make it easier for future people to find) and hopefully someone will be able to help you.

The R2 SDK comes with a program called the Unity Toolkit. If you run it whilst you have a project open in Unity then it imports the RealSense camera library files and tools into that project. These tools include a folder of pre-made 'Action' scripts for purposes such as hand / face / object tracking and triggering actions that you can just drop into a Unity object without having to do script programming.
The pre-made script that can be used like the example mentioned to control objects such as an avatars arms and legs, is called TrackingAction.

Intel 82579LM Gigabit Phy & QM77 PCH - TCTL register and Tx functionalities
Hello,
I'm working on the Intel 82579LM linked to a QM77 PCH (7/C210 Series Chipset).
When activating the Tx functionalities, using the TCLT register ( p193 of Intel® 82579 GbE PHY: Datasheet, Vol. 2.1 )
I noticed that if the "Reserved" "Read only" bit 28 was not specifically set to value '0b1', the Tx functionalities do not work.
Although I agree it is not "best-practice" to set "Reserved" bits, is this behavior normal ?

Re: Downgrade BIOS on NUC7i3BNH to version 0036
Tried downgrade bios on NUC7i3BNH from 0045/0042 to 0036 and 0031 (BN4026.bio first) but failed both normal upgrade and bios recovery -F4 with BN0036.bio and BN4026.bio files. Are we locked at 0040+ bios' ?
I experience same problem with black screen normal monitor hdmi/hdmi 1920x1080, tried two diff usb (one with fat32 and another ntfs) mem sticks where I had bio file at root and when forced recovery mode F4 it reboots usb mem stick led light turned then flash 2-3 sec and led turned off power button led(blue) remains on for a while and then it reboots nothing altered with bios

Connection to Bluetooth Device blocks active WIFI Connection
Hi there,
I´m using the Edsion (Yocto 1.7.2, source-files "edison-src-ww25.5-15.tgz) to generate a lot of data which is transferred either via UDP or TCP over an active WIFI-Connection.
Further I´d like to automatically search for bluetoothdevices and establish a connection to a known MAC- address. Generally this works fine.
Today I realized whenever I´m trying to connect to a bluetoothdevice (using bluetoothctrl, "connect MAC-address") the whole network communication blocks. Initially I thought it would be a ****** implementation on my side. So I used bluetoothctrl in an extra session - just to see the same problem.
I´m aware that bluetooth and WIFI are using the same chip - but shouldn´t these things be WELL separated from each ohter?
Is there a work arround? I can´t effort have a blocked network connection (for 1-2s) each time I´m trying to connect a bluetooth device. The whole thing is rather timecritical as I´m producing realtime data....

I remember that first time i installed windows 10 on mine NUC I had HDR option available on windows... could this be with bios that was on it and HDR option disapeared with bios update ??
Failed downgrade bios to 0031 and 0036, couldn't test this :/

As per the Intel's first reply, 12V is for expansion board power and 5V for joule module but I have checked expansion board schematic in which 12v is used to
1) step down to 5V to power joule module through +VSYS .
2) Input detection for PMIC only.
I didn't find any significant use of 12V in schematic, instead if I use regulated 5V 4A power supply for Joule through +VSYS OR if I start the expansion board from Regulated 5V 4A supply to +VSYS and so on same design as mentioned in schematic, will it allow joule to boot, or what kind of problem will be there?
Suggestions if any..?

For our augmeted reality application we need to track user's nail, fingerTips. we wantto superimpose nail paints on nails.
does it is possible through use of realsense technology?.
any thought , help around, any one has done similar work .. please help give a direction.

It would not recognize nails specifically unless they had a certain color or pattern on them. Tracking fingertips is no problem though, as this is one of the finger 'joints' supported by RealSense, and I have done fingertip and thumb-tip tracking in my own RealSense project.
The '2016 R2' version of the RealSense SDK comes with a sample demo called 'AR Mirror' for the Unity game creation engine that shows how RealSense can overlay virtual objects over a real body area such as the hand, keeping the virtual objects aligned with the user's body movements in real-time. The sample comes with the source code so you can learn how to replicate it yourself.

Uninstalling RST driver 15.2.0.120 and installing TS300-E9/PS4:

won´t affect current data on the RAID1 SSD(OS) or RAID1 HDD (data)?
The change will be transparent or do we have to rebuid the RAIDs?
