Hi guys!
I am developing a project that requires the power consumption as minimized as possible, any idea about how to disable the ADC?
Thanks in advance!
Many thanks for the help and for testing the displays!
Hello,
Since long back Intel RealSense's SR300 camera(developer Kit) is not available,
- when will it be available ?
- Has Intel stopped support/production of these cameras ?
Thanks & regards,
Mahadeo waghadari.
Seems that my water cooling system was saving my Cpu from getting that ridiculous temps that my GB Gaming 7 mobo voltages was given (I'm happy I spent money in a useful way). At least Gigabyte have done a move and corrected this issue; perhaps the last answer will be on mobo manufacturers then.
For me (stock, 4.5 turbo, water cooling), as I said before, at this day, I strangely are getting more than 90C when max stress; I updated bios (F7a) and I'm using Gigabyte software app to adjust the fans, and now I can get used to the, still (but less), fans/pump up & down. I will think two times before overclocking in future, but well, I know now the problem and I can take care about within my possibilities.
For me, I think we won't get any useful answer from Intel... very disappointing; of course, I (we) will never forget.
ok for the kids and adults alike out there that have bought optane and keep getting the errors im here to explain how to make it work. i have spent the last 5 days figuring this out and it works like a champ im very impressed what optane can do for a 1tb hdd. ok please be very careful of the steps and what you do.
STEP ONE: reinstall windows under UEFI ONLY, just as if you are installing for a raid array. for those that dont know what this means here is an explanation. install your windows boot disk onto a thumb drive, or memory stick or w/e ya wanna call it . reboot into bio or restart and hit F11 untill you get a boot priority screen. now for example if you are using a Kingston 16gb memory stick you will have 2 options.
1: boot into kingston hyper x fury drive D or any letter at the end is gonne be wrong choice.
2 boot into kingston hyper x UEFI only and install windows.
choose option 2 lol
STEP TWO: update windows completely before you install anything else.
STEP THREE: go to your MOTHERBOARDS support website and down load and install the newest OPTANE memory file. some offer 2 options. one is basically a manual mode and one most have to offer is a one click install which changes bios settings for you . follow the instructions and let the system do the reboots as it needs to. now you will reboot into windows and the optane memory program will take over and ask you if you want to let it do its thing, if u see this screen u need not go any further u have successfully installed optane and can go have fun now. if you do not see this screen or the program will not execute or you get an error move onto the next step.
STEP 4: here is where we need to manually fix windows to make optane work. if you cant boot into windows at this point , put your windows installer boot media back into where it was and reboot. once the Windows installer starts wait until you get the the choose a drive screen. Now push left shift + F10 and it will bring up a command window.
enter this text
" diskpart "
and then
" listdisk "
at this point it will bring up a list of the disks, 0,1 2 etc if u have more than one i suggest u unplug all disks except for the one you are installing windows on and restart and come back to step 4
after typing listdisk TYPE IN
"select disk X"
x being the number of the disc in the list u want to install windows on, replace x with that disc number and hit enter
next type in
" list partitions "
under partitions find the 500mb ish windows recovery partition and then TYPE IN
" select partition x "
replace the x with the partition number on your screen that windows recovery is on
next type in
" delete partition override "
this will delete the windows recovery partition and allow optane to begin working. ok next we want to reboot into bios
when you log into bios now you will notice that the optane memory is now showing on the list of drives.
go to advanced settings and go to storage drive or w/e it might say
make sure intel RST raid is enabled. and also under it make sure UEFI is enabled. make sure your M.2 slot your optane module is on is made remapping enabled.
now click on top of your bios screen where it says boot and scroll down on that page until you reach CMS, now disable CMS. now CLICK F10 save and exit into windows and enjoy optane.
heres my 1tb WD drive lol this stuff cracks me up man intel is the SHIZZZZZ

Check out this thread with similar issue: HDMI (audio) problem on Acer Aspire E5-571.
On my rig i have to switch audio sometimes manually via sound control panel.
The other user needed to re-install the Intel Chipset Driver.
I have ordered this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/USB-3-1-C-Type-C-Thunderbolt-3-to-Full-HDMI-4K-60HZ-Adapter-Cable-for/32804211865.html
not arrived yet.
I also have this one http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/usb-type-c-to-hdmi-20-uhd-active-adapter.html
some shops in Norway has it.
on amazon they say 60hz on 4k works
Hey again Nestor,
I think I realized the issue: I have a PCI-E NVME m.2 SSD as the system/target drive, and I just now found the one line in all the support documentation which says that it's not compatible. I was hoping to test it out and see if there was any benefit at all to running Optane with an already fast SSD. Oh well!
Regards,
Chris
lol cant say ya didnt try XD. who is the manufacturer of the ssd ? and yea only works for sata . but honestly i dont think being pci e for optane would make much performance difference. its just made to help the hdd out a bit and thats what it does and does a tremendous job of doing so and a very reasonable price imo .
Hi,
we are trying to get the SR300 camera working on a TX2 board from Nvidia. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Leonardo R.,
I found the problem, the GP135 was initialized as a gpio and for this reason the uart stops working.
I don't understand why, withthe same application (with GP135 initialized as GPIO) on Arduino board UART2 worked fine.
Many Thanks
Regards.
Thanks for your prompt response.
I'm not sure about BIOS version, I delivered ics to my customer and this function is necessary for their using.
I'll get back to you later.
(Can you check from date of manufacture 17 Jan 2017? I didn't update it.)
TV: Toshiba 32L1600VT
I use with this model only and no additional hdmi cable.
I'll give you direct links for downloading the SDKs that skip the login / registration. These will launch the download immediately in your browser.

You may be able to use the infrared (IR) function of the camera to examine the color of the amount of blood flow under the skin and determine an estimate for the temperature that way. RealSense has a feature called Pulse Estimation that estimates a person's heart rate based on this method.

Hi, I have a DN2820FYKH which I want to run on the 12v dc battery supply in my motorhome as I don't always have access to 240v ac to run it. I have a Seagate backup drive which happily runs on this supply. When I try to bot it I get a message on the screen saying only use the genuine power adaptor and then it shuts down. I am using a bought 12v dc lead to connect the NUC and am not sure if that is the problem and would like some advice on how to get this working. Google searches indicate it should be possible.
Thanks
Mickb
